Weekly Wrap-Up #11

I only posted four times this past week, so in essence, you didn’t miss much. I don’t know what is wrong with me, but I lack motivation and am at a loss for words, so writing hasn’t come easy. I feel tired; I’m drained.

Maybe it’s the heat. It’s been horribly hot here and just think…it’s not even July or August yet. At least it wasn’t like it was a few years ago, when temperatures in May were already 100+F. Yes, it could be worse and it does no good to complain. So, I’ll just shut up and get to the weekly wrap-up, yes?

Monday
Punching People in the Nose: I think the title says it all. Some people deserve it.

Tuesday
I’m Okay, Really: *sigh* I didn’t get the job that I had hoped for. The same job where the VP said I was his top choice. Apparently, I wasn’t. I think I was more upset with the lack of integrity of people.

Wednesday
Cruising: I had been looking through some of the picture of the cruise my mom and I went on, so I decided to do a series of posts, starting with this one.

Thursday
The Bahamas: The first stop on our cruise. It was beautiful, but as I will prove, the trip only got better.

Friday:
No Post

Saturday:
Continuing where I left off on Friday….oops, no post.

I think that sometimes we all just need a break now and then to recharge our batteries. I’m hoping next week will be better in all departments, especially in writing.

Enjoy what’s left of your weekend and try not to dread Monday so much. It’s not worth fretting over something that’s going to happen anyway.

We all have those periods when we’re not feeling up to it. Recharging the batteries is called for.

      I concur!

I think the heat has been getting to me this week too :) I haven’t felt like blogging at all!

    • GKAdams

The heat has been bad. It’s only going to get worse here.

Eh well…I usually post three times a week and only did two last week…but I didn’t want to charge my dying laptop in the bathhouses. HAAH

I like writing, but sometimes it gets overwhelming. It’s nice to take a break from it once in a while.

You don’t need to post every day. Quality over quantity. Also, sorry about the job.

    • GKAdams

Meh. I’m over the job. Their loss. I know I don’t have to post every single day, but when I started, I got in the habit of doing so. It bothers me when I don’t meet the expectations I make for myself. I agree though, quality over quantity.
