I’m very excited over here in Texas. The local area rodents rednecks are building a bonfire and will be cookin’ up some vittles to celebrate.
I’ve started my very own newsletter. I know, I know…it’s not really worth a redneck bonfire or vittles, but to me, it’s pretty exciting.
Unfortunately, those of you who subscribed to my blog will NOT automatically receive the newsletter. You have to sign up for it separately. If you want to subscribe, and I truly hope you do (don’t make me beg), just input your email address here and hit <enter> on your keyboard. You’ll then receive a confirmation email.
So, what’s in the newsletter? Well, there will be some stuff that you won’t see on my blog. Sure, I’ll include some older posts that you might have missed, but I’ll also have contributors too.
Maybe some recipes, photography, jokes, short stories, poetry, movie reviews, book reviews, SEO, computer tip and tricks, politics, pets, entertainment, news, etc…you name it. All you have to do is submit! It’s easy-peasy! Well, I’m not easy, but the submission process is. All I ask is that you submit original material, written by you. So if you’re interested, contact me at email@example.com
NOTE: This is a monthly newsletter. New releases will be distributed on the 1st of each month.
The layout of the newsletter will be (kinda, sorta) a new approach. It’ll be online and the articles will feature a picture with an excerpt below it. Readers will have the option to click on [READ MORE], and when they do, they’ll be taken to the contributor’s blog. That way, readers will get introduced to other bloggers, etc. What does this mean? Well, if you are a blogger or your have your own personal site, it’s preferable that you have already posted your article…that way, I can link to it with your permission.
Here’s a sample:
It’s a win-win situation! The readers get entertained and bloggers/contributors will hopefully gain new, permanent readers.
There will also be CHEAP advertisement spots available on the newsletter. As soon as I get around to it (probably today), I’ll be updating my Advertise/Sponsor menu.
So, who’s in?
