When people complain because I use “bad” words in my blog:

Preparing to read some of the blogs I read daily:

And then you get to that one post (nobody from the Bloppy Blogger group) and you’re like:

Or when someone writes, “I Digress” (my worst pet peeve):

But most of the time, it’s like:

When I have trouble thinking about what to write for my next blog post:

When an idea FINALLY pops into my head:

But then I get stuck:

And try to play it cool, like, “I got this shit handled!”

Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens. That was one of the BEST football games I have watched in a very long time. The 49ers gave their all and I was impressed with both teams! Even the blackout was exciting.

The commercials? Meh. I’ve seen better.

Beyonce? Not really a fan, but I did notice she didn’t lip sync this time. We can blame her for the blackout.

OMG this post is freakin’ PERFECT! From the ‘trying to get motivated’ to the ‘I digress’ pet peeve. OMG – I CAN’T STAND it when people say that. It’s SO overused and makes me nuts. It was fine when I first heard it like 15 years ago, but now…HAHAHA.
And the expressions in all these clips are hilarious! Awesome! Tweeted this – had to share. ;)

      Thanks, Cyndi!

LOL What a fun post, Gina! :) It had flash. It had style. It made me think of warm summer days sitting in a meadow surrounded by unicorns and playing Jenga with the fairies…but I digress. :D

I wish I could say that I was sad that I missed the superbowl (on purpose), but I’m not. The commercials have been swimming around the net all day yesterday, so I feel like I still have my finger on the pulse of “what’s cool at this nanosecond.” I never was much of a fan of Beyonce. And the blackout? Eh…we had those so many times growing up I thought I was a mushroom (that might explain my dead white girl complexion).

Unicorns and Jenga. Huh. Two words I never thought I’d see used in the same sentence.

Hilarious! WHERE did you find these pics? Thanks for the morning crack up on my way to work! :)

Quite an innovative blog. I’m impressed. I’m not techie enough to create something like you have just done. Great pics and quite funny. By the way, I’m one of those people you find annoying. I digress.

    • http://www.funnylifestories.com GK Adams

Thank you, Mari. Glad you stopped by from Writer’s of Mass Distraction. Hope you’ll come back.

This was great! And I’m so embarrassed because I used the term “But I digress” right at the end of my post today. I’ve never used it before so I thought I was being original but guess what? I’m never using it again! I agree, it’s a cop-out and annoying. I still think The Black Eyed Peas were a better half-time performance 2 years ago than Beyonce, but maybe that’s just me. Agree, great game!

Yeah, “I digress,” makes my skin crawl for someone reason. Usually when I see it, I leave the blog I’m reading. Not yours though. :-)

Gina – I bow to your wisdom in choosing the winner of the game! No hard feelings, by any means. The Ravens got it started, and the 49er’s almost finished it, but fell short. Love the post! I almost thought you’d gotten Gabriela to do a guest shot for you! lol

    • http://www.funnylifestories.com GK Adams

Lucky guess on the Ravens. Who is Gabriela?

  • http://www.heyheyhoneybee.com Melissa

This is so funny and perfect. I have no idea how in the world you have so many gifs that match what you are saying so perfectly, but it was cracking me up. “hoping my coffee will magically appear” was especially awesome.

Ahhhh…it’s a secret. It was a good, creative day, which doesn’t happen very often.
